About Us

​Hi, we are Glenn and Karen Tillery and for the last 7 years we have prayed about the idea of purchasing some additional land on the mountain and starting a small community of log cabins but the timing was not right until December 2017, when approached by the owner and asked if we would like to purchase the 43 acres next to our land...we knew it was time!  Before finalizing our purchase of this new land, my husband Glenn, went up to the mountain and spent the weekend at our Eagles Nest cabin next door to the property.  He prayed over the land and sought God's direction for this new property. I was totally shocked when he came home and said that we were supposed to build a wedding venue alongside our community. You see while he was at Eagles Nest he spent time reading through the pages of our six years of guest books. Page after page he read about all of the marriages that had been blessed by our High Falls land. Couples whose marriages that had been on the brink of divorce who came to the mountain and spent time together and experienced healing in their relationship. Couples who came to Eagles Nest to celebrate anniversaries...one year, two years, ten years, even 50 years of marriage. A few couples who actually chose to have small intimate weddings on the front deck of Eagles Nest. After reading all of these beautiful stories, we knew we needed to provide a place for couples to begin their stories. We are so excited to finally be able to share Burns Bluff at High Falls Wedding and Event Center with you all.
